Locations/Territories: Northeastern US  and Southeastern US and open to location as long as the candidate is willing to travel up to 50%.
 
Summary Description
The Senior Solutions Architect supports Sales Directors by understanding prospects needs and translating them into the most relevant solution for those prospective clients, selecting components and modules not only from Axolotls suite of HIE products, but also from partners offerings. As the primary lead technical consultant for the field Sales team, he/she is involved in all areas of the Sales process - from initial evaluation to product demonstrations to final selection.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide lead technical consulting services to analyze, design, and deliver the ideal   solution for a prospect
- Lend expertise to answer bid questions, individually or as part of a bid response team
 -Conduct high-level as well as detailed product demonstrations
 -Plan, prepare and participate in "deep dive" technical evaluation meetings
 -Act as a liaison between the Sales team and the Axolotl internal departments (Engineering, Implementation, IT, Finance, Legal)
- Ability to adapt the Axolotl story to the level of expertise desired by prospects (high-level vs. technical) through outstanding presentation skills
 Required Qualifications:
 
  -Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the healthcare IT space (HIE, EHR/EMR)
  -Previous experience with prospects and client interaction 
  -Experience delivering compelling product demos for different kinds of audiences
  -Expertise in web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, XML, various application   
    servers and databases
  - Proficiency in healthcare IT standards  
   -Bachelors degree or equivalent in Medical Informatics, Computer Science or clinical   
    field (MD, RN, Pharm)
 
 Preferred Qualifications:
 
-Hands-on experience in a clinical setting
-Experience with IBM Lotus Notes/Domino and IBM DB2
