Inpatient Facility
Salary mid range of $ 88,000
Responsibilities:
Serves as the Testing Lead for system enhancements, upgrades and implementations within the Clinical Information Systems domain.
Develops and maintains all project documentation related to testing and methodology.
Work with Business Analyst to translate business requirements into test requirements.
Facilitates sessions for the development of test scenarios and scripts.
Perform defect resolution activities to verify that systems function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines.
Assist development team in performing defect root-cause analysis and recommend corrections.
Report on status of testing activities to the Project Manager as defined in the test plan and/or required by the test management process, including written analysis of test results to the Project Manager regarding system readiness for promotion to the production environment. Maintains testing issues log.
Provide timely feedback to the Project Manager regarding testing issues and concerns.
As a team member of the clinical systems team, provide production on call support for all clinical systems.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate has minimum 6 plus years experience in an Information Technology and Software Development Life Cycle position, with 3 plus years experience writing, reviewing, approving, and executing test documentation, from Test Strategy documents through test scripts, for major software version releases.
Experience in leading major testing efforts: this would include a demonstrated ability to meet demanding rollout schedules to various environments as well as working outside normal business hours.
Project experience that was done under the guidance of a software development life cycle, especially testing components of an SDLC.
Candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal communications.
Experience that includes both system and hands-on operational experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
