Senior Systems Analyst Country United States Work Location IN, Fort Wayne Job Description ITT's Defense Enterprise Applications organization is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Senior Systems Analyst. The Senior Systems Analyst will support a variety of software systems in a developmental capacity in a team environment. Works directly with business, finance and manufacturing subject matter experts to define software requirements and derive requirement specifications, including appropriate and necessary integration and interface to other systems.
Designs software solutions and enhancements either independently or as part of a team. Duties include requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing and troubleshooting. Develop technical specifications required for system development; application flows, data requirements and processing logic.
Responsible for programming of applications. Develops and maintains implementation plans and schedules, and action registers for individual assignments. Assists in scheduling time for program testing and obtaining user acceptance.
Researches, evaluates, and makes recommendations regarding technology pertinent to department and business goals. Prepares and delivers presentations to a variety of audiences on a variety of software topics.

* B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
* Minimum five years of professional experience in Information Technology.
* Experience with business transactional systems.
* Experience with iSeries platform and RPG programming including RPG, CL, DB2 databases.
* Experience with iSeries platform and RPG programming including RPG, CL, DB2 databases.
* Experience in HR/Payroll systems is a plus.
* Experience with cross platform solutions is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required.
* Experience using Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Project, Outlook and Visio.
