Requisition # G1880825 Job Title Senior Systems Analyst- Oracle eBusiness (Manufacturing Solutions) Post Date 7/1/2010 Division Information Technology Job Area Information Technology Location California - San Diego Job Function Seeking a Systems Analyst with knowledge of best practices and hands-on experience in the support of Manufacturing solutions with a focus in: Procurement, Receiving, Product Quality, Accounts Payable, Procurement spends classification and reporting, Vendor management, collaboration techniques and business intelligence principles. The candidate must be an experienced Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) professional that will be able to lead a team of IT professionals in the design, development and implementation of sound solutions to complex business processes. A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to design quality, maintainable solutions while working within the defined objectives and priorities of the department and the customer is required.
This position will manage specific projects from inception through deployment to Production. In addition to a strong understanding of the broad-based manufacturing functionality, data model and APIs, the candidate must also have a highly successful background in managing people, processes and projects. S/he should be able to set priorities in work assignments and work well in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Skills/Experience Position requires a broad-based functional background and at least 7 years experience in: Functional business processes Procure-to-Pay and Plan-to-Build from both the functional and technical perspectives Custom development and packaged systems full-lifecycle methodology Relevant implementation, project management and production support
The position requires IT management experience in: Oracle eBusiness system implementation within the Manufacturing Applications Ability to interface with different functional and technical groups in defining and managing system solutions, managing project scope and customer expectation Direct report management The candidate must have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to write clear functional requirements to a level of detail that facilitates the development and implementation of system enhancements and configuration Experience dealing directly with customers in the definition and implementation of system solutions
The ideal candidate will also have experience or understanding of: SQL, PL/Sql, Oracle ERP Suite technical design Knowledge of Oracle Discoverer, XML Publisher and OBIEE reporting tools Oracle Applications release and environment management User training and communication/change management

Ability to build a rapport with team members and customers
Responsibilities Lead a functional team in the definition, design and implementation of new solutions, as well as support of existing functionality, within the Oracle EBS applications, primarily in the Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and/or Plan-to-Build business cycles.
Manage resources (onsite and offshore) to accomplish business objectives and priorities, assess performance during the bi-annual appraisals and mentor staff to a higher competency level
Manage projects of various sizes and complexity assuring deployed functionality meets the customers requirements with the highest level of quality possible
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Science or equivalent experience required
