AT&T currently supports the TECOM G-6, Office of the CIO, by providing IT & IA support. The TECOM G-6/CIO provides technical support for all of the Command's communications and training systems, to include the Web Services/TECOM Portal platform. This requirement is to provide support that will improve a next generation business infrastructure and knowledge management portal. The individual must be a fast learner in a U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) organizational/network infrastructure environment. Knowledge of USMC Combat Camera programs and systems required.
Responsibilities: The "right" go-getter will assist in the evaluation of user systems, processes and database requirements (e.g., SharePoint Server/Applications, Media Services Server/Applications) to ensure standards are maintained and monitored for integrity and security. May be responsible for support documentation such as sustaining standard operating procedures, processes, and data requirements. Assists with various network modeling tasks. Works independently and is self-directed in performance of daily responsibilities under the supervision of program managers, including government. Works directly with customers to validate requirements and implement viable solutions. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements and Years of Experience: This position requires that the individual have a Security+ or equivalent IATII certification per DOD 8570.
Secret clearance required.
Requires strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the client, IT team, and senior military and staff personnel. Experience in file structures, info retrieval/search, access methods, related to evaluating user systems; quick learner; confident in training skills (talking to others); technical customer service or assistance; experienced in collecting data, formulating test results, and presenting results to supervisors and above. Ability to work closely with others in a diverse working environment (military, civilian, and contractor).
Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Project, and/or PowerPoint skills required. SharePoint Configuration understanding is required - certification desired. Experience with InfoPath, XML required. Knowledge of database management and synchronization required.
Minimum 8 years experience working with hardware and software applications in enterprise LAN/WAN environments including classified and unclassified and Bachelors Degree in an IT related field required (additional four years IT experience can substitute for degree). Master's Degree in IT related field can substitute for 2 years of required 8 years of experience. SharePoint and other IT relevant certifications are a plus.
