Senior Systems Engineer

Company is a leading global aviation supplier designing, manufacturing, and distributing advanced electronic systems, products, and services to commercial, defense and space industries.

 

Technical and project management team member/leader for all phases of a liquid cooling or turbo-machinery system life cycle including new business development, proposal writing, preliminary design, development testing, qualification testing and production support.

Responsibilities Include:
-Work with external and internal customers and senior group engineers to define/derive technical and programmatic requirements
-Manage work across multiple sites or major subcontractors to accomplish design, development, fabrication and qualification testing of hardware and ensure that flight hardware is delivered per customer requirements
-Provide technical direction and or guidance to design and analysis specialists, other project engineering groups, laboratory, program management and the integrated supply chain
-Conduct engineering studies, development/qualification testing, analysis of test results and lead/participate in IPDS team(s)
-Support the preparation of cost proposals, program schedules and plans, inputs to the AOP and STRAP
-Ensure hardware and program requirements meet performance, schedule and cost needs
-Maintain close customer relations and support the development of proposals that are successful in obtaining new business
