Senior Technical Analyst - 14 months contract
Responsible for assisting in the design and of the Lotus Domino environment including analyzing, recommending, implementing, supporting and enhancing the information and technology resources required by the Board to meet its business objectives. Specific product based responsibilities will be assigned based on operational requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the optimal configuration, operation, and performance measurement of the Domino infrastructure. 0Responsible for the ongoing administration of the overall Domino infrastructure including mail and clustering other database management in accordance with OTPP standards. -Works with systems and administration team to implement other technology-based business solutions as per business objectives. -Supports current Domino environment and any changes to it. -Analyzes and recommends applicability of various products in solving business problems. -Performs Notes/Domino troubleshooting, inc. interface with Lotus Support
Qualifications:
-Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 6yrs experience administering a medium sized Domino (6.x or later) environment. -Administrative skills should include, but not limited, to: Account management, Server auditing, Scheduling of tasks, Server monitoring and performance measurement, Domino directory architecture and Domino troubleshooting. Assisting in the planning, coordinating and execution of projects, meeting project milestones. -Practical knowledge and good understanding of the following technologies in addition to Domino: Windows 2000/2003 Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Ethernet networks, -Good understanding of personal mail synchronization tools (Blackberry etc.) -Experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server an asset. -Familiarity with Notes/Domino Programming an asset.

-Ability to sustain a superior level of quality and quantity of work. -Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills. -Excellent organization, analytical and problem-solving skills. -Ability to communicate and interact effectively with systems professionals, as well as users who may not be systems experts. -Strong ability to work independently, prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines. -Resourcefulness, creativity and good judgement skills.
