Sr. Technical Analyst (Environment Manager) : Is accountable for the technical aspects of Upgrades and Implementations to include the coordination and integration of systems environment activities across multiple teams within the Application Services department. The EM is responsible for the build, delivery and management of all environments related to the projects that they are assigned to. Unless otherwise noted, all of the responsibilities mentioned below are for the Application Service (Hosting) area. Responsibilities include:
Project/Client Management
· Manage project environments through project life cycle including hardware and software procurement, hardware and software build and configuration, network and security configuration, coordinating and scheduling analyst resources assigned to support client testing and coordination of development migration across all project environments.
· Lead the functional and technical design, development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based hosting solutions.
· Assist the PM in metric gathering and reporting.
· Technical point of contact for client Project Management team (for upgrades only)
· Works with the Project Manager to create the TZG Application Services project plan
· Works with the project PM to insure that all Application Services project deliverables are met
· Utilize strong analytical skills to assist project managers and analysts with Tier 2 cross functional hosted issues regarding environment connectivity, application integration, and testing issue resolution.
· Establish and maintain a productive and positive working relationship with the other project teams, management and the Client.
· Seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and deepen Client relationship.
· Follow all Hosting processes related to Implementations or Upgrades.
· Ensure that change controls are managed throughout the project lifecycle
· Assist the PM in the transition of the project to the Operational Support team.
Contract/Scope Management: Assist the PM and Architect in the review of the contract to determine the SOW for Application Services
Schedule/Work Plan Management: Assist the PM in the creation of project plans and schedules.
Resource Management: Determines resource that is needed to support change control activities and
manage those activities.
Deliverables Management: Ensure completion of environmental deliverables.
Quality Management: Adhere to the quality management standards for the project/Program. Ensure that all environments are reviewed by and approved by the QA team.
Issues Management
· Escalate and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
· Participate in meetings to review project issues on a weekly basis.
· Escalate critical issues to facilitate timely resolution and to minimize project risk.
· Ensure that all incidents are entered and tracked though Onyx
· Ensure that team member are following the Incident Management process
· Bachelor's degree (MIS or Computer Science Preferred)
· Experience with an IT service provider
· 5+ years experience in a related position
· Strong technical aptitude for network, hardware, software, system administration and/or data analysis troubleshooting
· Good understanding of the technical aspects of implementing software applications
· Good understanding of the Project Management lifecycle
· Prefer 2 years healthcare industry knowledge with focus on payer sector and associated payer technology, but not required
· Product knowledge of TriZetto Software desired (Facets, HealthWeb, HIPAA Gateway), but not required
· Strong general industry knowledge of one or more complex business area/processes within the Healthcare/Managed Care
· Demonstrate excellent judgment to assess highest priorities, coordinate multiple project tasks, and assist with managing time and resources profitably
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Experience leading project teams responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the TriZetto Hosting technology solution
· Experience with Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Outlook/Project
· Good people management skills
· Good facilitation, negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills
· Strong communication and presentation skills to all levels of management
· Good ability to identify a problem and help facilitate a coordinated resolution to the problem
