- Provide technical leadership within an architecture discipline on assigned initiatives/projects. - Define the architecture, client environment, and supporting tools to meet stated program or project objectives - Communicate the architecture direction for your discipline and provide an understanding of a set of platforms and applications - Participate in efforts to create new standards and best practices and drive adoption across the technical community - Assess new technology to determine its viability and applicability within Target's technical environment
Requirements - Infrastructure
- BA/BS or equivalent experience - 7-9 years total work experience - Has a working knowledge of designing and constructing infrastructure platform architectures (server, network, desktop, database, systems management) - Ability to stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education - Ability to explain technical solutions to technical and non technical teams. - Provide coaching to technical team members

- BA/BS or equivalent experience - 7-9 years total work experience - Possess an understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces and control languages - Significant business knowledge and have one or more areas of concentrated technical expertise - Ability to explain technical solutions to technical and non technical teams Benefits
