Title: Senior Technical Editing/Writing/Quality Assurance Specialist

Individual selected will maintain the training delivery standard operating procedures document control system, review newly prepared or modified documents and track the progress of document review and approval. Administer a system for handling corrective and preventive action requests. Maintain official files of training delivery records and other contract documents as directed by the COTR. These files shall be accessible for unannounced Government review and shall be randomly inspected for accuracy, completeness, and documented evidence of program integrity. Maintain a system to ensure that all training delivery records are properly identified, maintained, filed, stored, and available for review and audit. This system includes a retention index for each type of record, which addresses duration of record retention and disposal. Develop and maintain the necessary procedures/guidelines for all general and specific tasks in the contract performance work statement, to include required reviews, updates/changes, and new procedures as required. Procedures/guidelines are subject to inspection. Reviewing, editing, and formatting documents for grammar and content; providing quality control oversight in accordance with FEMA Protection and National Preparedness Writing Guide SOPs, Government Printing Office (GPO) styles and standards, and 508 compliance; coordinating document deadlines, reviews, and submission processes; and working with document authors to resolve questions and deliver quality products. Complete other tasks as assigned.
6 - 9 years with BA, 4 - 7 years with MBA.


Applicants selected for this position will require anactiveDoD Secret clearance, background screening and the ability to obtain a DHS Suitability. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
