Juno Lighting Group by Schneider Electric is setting the standard for innovation in architectural-grade lighting products.

The Senior Technical Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of technical and analytical tasks necessary to provide user support for computer and phone related hardware and software. Acts as a liaison with all departments within information technologies function in order to provide problem resolution and equipment requests in a timely manner. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and project leadership qualities are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Other duties in addition to those listed may be assigned:

. Analyzes and resolves user hardware and software problems. May simulate or recreate user problem to resolve operating difficulties.
. Initiates corrective action for customer problems, needs or requests, including computer virus/anti-virus issues.
. Makes recommendations for system modifications to reduce user problems.
. May perform LAN/hard disk backups and/or troubleshoot hardware problems.
. Develops, reviews, maintains, and/or implements documentation which will be provided to users in support of hardware, software or application programs.
. May provide programming support, including preparing reports, structure charts, flowcharts, labels, writing/documenting programs and/or performing testing to debug programs and track service levels.
. May conduct research on new technology or software as required.
. May plan, document, and implement projects.
. Prepares equipment for employee use.
. May manage and maintain phone and voice mail systems, services, and specialty features such as Unified Messaging.
. Safeguards company assets.
. May work with vendor partners and perform financial analysis of competitive quotes on small to mid-size initiatives.
. Performs root cause analysis on significant issues with general supervision to increase future success.
. Coordinates with others to set priorities.
. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
. Creates, maintains, and follows policies and procedures.
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills (e.g., implementation methodology, planning, organizing, monitoring progress, etc.),
. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
. May be required to conduct some analysis as part of the above.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

. May manage completion of a project phase.
. Available as needed after hours and weekends to provide support on-site and/or remotely.
. Occasional responsibilities in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
