Senior Technical Writer
Our client is seeking a committed, motivated and detail-oriented individual to assume the role of a Senior Technical Writer responsible for all aspects of creating technical documentation (technical manuals and training guides) for a variety of complex equipment.
Duties include participating in all aspects of technical documentation development:
Developing simplified theory of operation and block diagrams for electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
Developing fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures for electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
Writing repair procedures.
Writing removal and installation procedures.
Working with graphic arts personnel in support of publication effort
Working with desktop publishing personnel in support of publication effort.
Interfacing with customer engineering personnel to work out solutions to problems.
** Candidates will be asked to submit a cover letter along with their resume or a sample of their technical writing ***

Requirements:
Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma Minimum 3 years experience with Technical Writing Minimum 3 years of electrical theory experience Minimum 2 years of interpreting engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematic diagrams. Desire and ability to lead junior writers and support staff. Skilled with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Access.
Additional Notes: All candidates will be required to complete a Technical Writing test as part of the interview process
