Your Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Technical Writer to take a key role in the writing highly technical documentation (including conceptual, task-based, and reference documentation) that describes the functionality of Informatica Data Replication products, generate online help, create documentation plans for individual features and estimate time required to complete tasks, and communicate documentation status to documentation manager or lead Our Ideal Candidate: To your way of thinking, change is good, and you thrive in a dynamic team environment. Your Qualifications: * 2+ years software development, testing, or technical writing experience * BA/MA/BS/MS (engineering, humanities, social sciences) * Fluent English both verbal and written. Excellent English grammar * Experience with help systems (Web Browser-based Help, Eclipse Help, Microsoft HTML Help) * Excellent analytical and written communication skills * Excellent leadership and project management skills * Ability to quickly learn technical information * Ability to meet deadlines and help others meet them * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and develop schedules * Ability to quickly learn technical information * Helps develop and fine-tune documentation processes * Understands the customer requirements and incorporates them into the documentation * Is attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, and owns and acts on quality problems
Desired skills: * Experience with content management systems * Experience with Agile development cycles * Experience with DITA and XMetaL * Experience working with a translation team to produce PDFs and online help in multiple languages
