Description

This position will be part of an agile team performing new development and maintenance programming for an enterprise sales order management and inventory tracking system using 2010, T-SQL, Microsoft Team Foundation and Microsoft SQL Server 2005/8.
The analyst/developer will take direction from an Application Lead but will be expected to work with the project owner directly to develop requirements and then code appropriate changes that integrate with current application functionality and strategy. This analyst/developer may lead/mentor up to 3 additional team members. Minimal travel is expected and will range from 5% to 25% depending on project needs.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong knowledge and experience in .NET coding and architecture Proven ability to understand business processes Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate ideas clearly Proven ability to meet development commitments and manage expectations Proven problem solver, with ability to debug complex multi-tier applications Desire for constant improvement Must be able to work independently, yet a strong team player Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with multiple projects running simultaneously
Basic Qualification At least 5 years of experience with Applications At least 3 years of experience with T-SQL At least 3 years of experience Debugging Multi-Tier applications At least 2 years of experience with Web Services At least 2 years of experience developing Enterprise Applications (250+ users) At least 2 years of experience with Object Oriented programming
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science or Engineering Experience with Sales Order Management and Inventory Management systems Experience leading small development efforts (less than 100 hours) Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology Experience with SSIS and SSRS
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as required
