General Summary As leading Online company, Dell is offering an exciting new job in the evolving field of Web Analytics as Senior Web Analyst within the Online Analytics, Testing and Operations Team of CSMB (Consumer and Small & Medium Business). Global CSMB Online is growing fast and is seeking highly motivated and skilled talent to support the growth of our online business.
The Senior Web Analyst is responsible for tracking web performance on all KPIs in the online funnel and to apply analytical methods to discover insights that will materially improve the online business. The Senior Web Analyst will work closely with a regional site team and central program teams to ensure site objectives are being achieved and insights are being translated into value for the business. The Senior Web Analyst will also work closely with the his peers in the CSMB Analytics, Testing & Operations Team to drive best practices and share learnings. Key objective in the role is to understand customer behavior behind key web indicators and to use that understanding in defining and testing actionable insights that the business will use to materially optimize Store Management and Merchandizing.
Principal duties & Responsibilities * Helps the region to maximize Marketing spend ROI * Focus work on regional objectives while aligning to global KPI framework and key strategic initiatives * Apply analytical methods to discover and interpret information from multiple data sources * Focuses on the regional execution of customer acquisition, conversion, development, and retention for strategic opportunities * Based upon measurement reporting and analysis, provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve business, web site, and/or marketing program performance * Track projects while hypothesis are being implemented and measure quantifiable impacts * Create clear observations, analysis and conclusions/recommendations for presentations to stakeholders * Maintain in-depth knowledge of Dell websites, business models, online marketing strategies and web analytics in general * Liaise with global leads for best practices for each function * Provide leadership and direction to analytics and test resources Skills * Passion for Web Analytics * 3-5 Years in Marketing, Customer Behavior, Financial Analysis or Web Analysis (Latter is preferred) * Strong Omniture (Site Catalyst) Experience * Project management skills * Detail orientated while keeping sight of bigger picture/trends * Intellectually curious * Service orientated * Web- & Tech-savvy
