Primary Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer who will be directly responsible for the design and implementation of new front-end subsystems and features within our web commerce sites and applications. You will need to effectively collaborate with and influence a cross-functional team consisting of web marketers, software engineers, web developers, QA, project managers and other business stake holders to solve complex problems and build world class web sites. You will be responsible for building web sites and front-end applications, comfortably move between understanding customer needs and solving customer problems through application of various levels of technical design, implementation and testing. Qualifications: . 5+ years experience developing critical, large scale customer facing web commerce front-end applications / sites with high volume and high-reliability requirements . Extensive UI development experience, including CSS, JavaScript, HTML//DHTML/XHTML, AJAX technologies and knowledge of W3C standards and compliance requirements. . Strong working experience with Flex and Flash. . Working experience with PHP. . Experience with SEO optimization. . Experience with web analytics and testing. . BS in Computer Science / Engineering a plus . Development experience in ATG Dynamo E-Commerce technology a plus . Strong knowledge and experience in n-tier web applications with knowledge of the different tiers including web servers, application servers, databases and infrastructure. . Strong understanding of performance and system security issues. . Proven ability as a creative problem solver with ability to comfortably move across high-level technical design, detailed technical design, and implementation . Ability to use seasoned judgment to suggest approaches that optimize among customer needs, business constraints and technological realities and assess investments in new projects including the assessment of risks and trade-offs . Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills . Experience working directly with web marketers, business stake holders to execute projects successfully .
