Overview:
Our Sage Payment Solutions division is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join their team in Lawrenceville Office for their R&D group.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Keep up-to-date on emerging software architectures, technologies, and methodologies, and attend training classes as necessary.
* Implements database driven interactive content. * Customized information retrieval and client/server programmability. * Design feature rich web application user interfaces and reporting. * Will be responsible for design, development, and team coordination of high traffic websites using .Net 2.0+. * Build APIs for third party integration to existing infrastructures. * Assist in testing and QA of all applications developed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and 5 - 8 years of related experience. * 5+ years experience in web development, using .Net in either or C#. * Experience in graphics, layout and design required. * Experience in CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and JQuery. * 2+ years SQL Server ( SQL, T-SQL). * Complete understanding and wide use of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related principles. * Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. * Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. * Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions/recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditures of resources. * Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player.
