Web developer/programmer to work in a large central/3 remote sites environment(web based) = 5 security boundary networks (class based), Sun Solaris 10, NETAPP NAS, ATL Veritas tape backup, GB Fast Ethernet Backbone; desktops = 5000 PC's WIN XP, 2003 Server, and AD + 200 SUNS running Solaris 10. Duties: Work on a team administering DoD Army customers internal and external facing web sites on DoD secure netorks (Solaris and Apache web servers): Proficient with application development concepts and and have language proficiency in: 1. HTML 4.x (familiarity with the IC metadata standard a plus); 2. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS); 3. Java 1.4.2; 4. Java Server Pages (JSP), spec. 1.x and 2.x; 5. Java Servlets, spec. 2.x.1- Familiarity with the Microsoft operating system and web services. C+ language preferred; Competency with XML and all of its derivatives such as Really Simple Syndication (RSS), version 2; Good communication and project management skills. Please Note: Active TS/SCI is required for this position.
Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. Requires 5 to 10+ years experience. Must have active/current DOD TS/SCI clearance. Prefer .NET or ASP programming experience but may train developer/programmer who has experience in other languages like C/C++/JAVA.
Performs other duties and special projects as needed and directed by the Manager. In order to be consider for this postion an Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
