Senior Web Developer

| A game development house that provides worldwide, leading edge consumer games is looking for a talented Senior Web Developer to join their team. Looking for an immediate candidate to begin work on a contract basis (leading to possible extensions and/or full-time opportunity). REQUIRED A minimum of 3 years industry technical experience working on consumer facing Web sites. Strong knowledge of front end Web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash, Flex, graphics, and video. 2+ years experience with object orientated Javascript and PHP. A minimum 2 years of experience developing and/consuming web services. Real experience with a modern Javascript library like YUI, jQuery or Dojo is required. Experience development server side J2EE applications. Knowledge of HTTP and REST are expected. Experience with database programming using ORM tools. Experience with integration of multiple systems/applications. Experience with owning overall technical implementation of applications/features. Experience with troubleshooting performance issues. Real experience with consuming XML in Javascript is highly desirable Real experience with single page web applications - Javascript applications consuming RESTful resources - is highly desirable. Real experience with Test Driven Development is required; please explain where you have used TDD before on projects. Basic knowledge of security and cryptography, single sign-on and LDAP directory services. Self-starter and passionate individual Strong written and verbal communication skills Computer science degree (4 years or equivalent) NICE-TO-HAVE Experience developing in Linux environment Experience deploying large systems on cloud environment.
