Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading providing of energy efficiency solutions worldwide. HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security and energy management.

HBS currently has an exciting opportunity for a Service Account Rep. This sales position is a unique role and is primarily responsible for developing and closing high level service and retrofit opportunities through executive level relationships in public and private sector markets. Targeted markets include but are not limited to Education, Commercial, Government and Healthcare. Candidates can be located in the Omaha, Nebraska or Des Moines, Iowa area.

Responsibilities:

. Identify and qualify new customer acquisition targets and opportunities within current account base to continually increase the base of service customers and grow existing accounts.
. Use a consultative sales approach to identify service opportunities, modernization retrofits and enhance the customer's current facility infrastructure.
. Develop retrofit opportunities through the application of cost of operations and energy analysis principles.
. Develop new business opportunities through a mix of networking, referrals, and industry specific organizations.
. Continuously improve customer satisfaction by ensuring alignment with customer's needs, requirements and requests and effectively and efficiently managing communications.
. Coordinate with Honeywell operations team and support resources to insure linkages in order to meet all commitments to the customer, identify ways to achieve year over year account growth and determine methods to improve overall revenue and operating margins of the account.
. Understand all regulatory implications applicable to Honeywell's scope of work and their impact on the customer's operations.
. Ensure proper linkages to Customer Acquisition, Solution Development, Solution Design, Contracting and Project Management leaders and teams as required.
Basic Qualifications:

. Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or other Technical Field, OR, in lieu of degree at least 5 years of Solutions and Service Sales experience.

Additional Qualifications:

. 5 years of Solutions and Service Sales experience is strongly preferred
. Knowledge of HVAC/Building Automation Systems, applications and value proposition.
. Knowledge and experience with value based selling.
. Ability to work in a team environment with limited, direct supervision.
. Experience in modernization and retrofit market preferred.
. Strong Computer User skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
. Demonstrated ability to lead a complex sales process including engagement and successful utilization of financial and technical resources.
. Demonstrated ability to comfortably interact within executive, management and technical customer levels.
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as ability to provide sound and reliable judgment in complex situations.
. Flexibility and resilience, including ability to adapt to changing/uncertain conditions.
. Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed team environment.
