APPLICATION SERVICES RESOURCE Coordinator
General Summary:
Resource Coordinator within the Services Delivery Partner and Resource Management Organization, and will be supporting Dell Applications Services. Candidate will manage incoming resource requests & candidates and respond per agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLA's). He / she will proactively coordinate with Application Services Resource Managers to assist with meeting the services delivery organization's utilization target, minimize bench resources, reduce travel costs, and achieve a high level of customer experience (CE). High pressure environment where every detail counts and responsiveness an absolute necessity. Candidate must be capable of working in a professional, energetic team environment. Limited to no travel.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
. Support solution architects /project managers and vendors by reviewing incoming pre-sales and post-sales requests. Coordinate scheduling, interviews, both with external and internal candidate. Assist Applications Services Resource Manager with assigning "best fit" resources (internal / external) based on qualifications, geographic proximity and desired timelines. . Enable the tactical execution of Partner Management strategy by selectively using partner resources . Analyze reports and present summary findings to the delivery organization; make hiring / training recommendations as appropriate. . Focus on continuous process improvement by defining, maintaining and enforcing business process rules. . Maintain internal/external resource calendars and availability for delivery and/or prescreening and interviewing. . Manage escalations by proactively engaging all impacted stakeholders and driving issues to resolution. . Diligently track required information to ensure tool / reporting data integrity. . Actively participate in meetings with the delivery organization. . Assists in Developing and managing the tactical and strategic resource plan for an offering or service line . At the higher level, incumbents are instrumental in strategic overall planning and large-scale operational deployment. . Ensures analysis and management reporting of gaps and surpluses, and resource plans across the business unit. . Responsible for planning meetings or training for representatives to provide least impact to service levels and abandonment rates. . Responsible for special projects related to Scheduling. . Analyze and escalate issues that may impact the business' ability to manage resource deployment. . Cognizant of and responsible for maintaining the work-life balance of deployed resources. . Typically follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing more complex situations or data to determine appropriate steps and/or actions. . Analyze and attempts to resolve issues that may impact the business' ability to manage resource deployment. . Trend and analyze data related to scheduling. . Benchmark with other resource deployment groups regarding schedule process improvements. . Coordinate interviews with internal and external customers and vendors . Regularly interacts with internal and external customers and vendors. . Ability to adapt to multiple time zones . Ability to create & maintain tracking of internal / external candidates . Application Services background a plus . Ability to screen resumes and indentify key requirements per the job description . Strong organizing and planning skills. . Advanced priority setting skill. . Preferred but not required:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred · Experience with Microsoft technologies and Dell enterprise hardware products are a plus · Experience with formal development / infrastructure process and methodologies · Experience with Enterprise Deployment & Infrastructure Consulting Services inter-relationship/process a plus
