Position Description:

CGI Ottawa is currently looking for a SharePoint Consultant/Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

? Have a minimum of 5 years of working experience as a programmer-analyst where web application analysis, design and programming was his/her primary role;
? Have a minimum of 2 years of recent working experience in programming with C# using Visual Studio 2005/2008;
? Have a minimum of 2 years of recent working experience in designing and programming custom web parts using C#.NET in SharePoint 2003/2007/2010;
? Have a minimum of 2 years of working experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008;
? Have designed and developed workflows using SharePoint Designer 2010;
? Experience in one or more programming languages (i.e. , C#.NET, );
? Experience with various business modeling tools and techniques;
? Experience in analyzing business and technical requirements and developing design specifications for implementing SharePoint-based solutions;
? Experience with prototype development, developing wireframes, User Interface (UI) design, using Webpage presentation techniques (CSS);
? Experience with query languages and MS SQL Server database developing stored procedures, performing database modifications, creation of databases, tables, working with indexes and foreign keys;
? Experience with upgrades from prior version of SharePoint and content migration from third-party solutions and legacy systems;
? Experience in developing test plans, test procedures, and performing testing activities;
? Knowledge of various structured development methodologies;
? Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
? Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
? Experience in developing technical documentation and system manuals and how-to procedures;
? Fluency in both official languages (English and French) would be an asset;
? Secret government clearance would be an asset.
