SIGINT Analyst and OperatorBAE Systems has an opening for an SIGINT Analyst and Operator to work on the OCONUS deployment of a new Wide Area Motion Imagery sensor and exploitation system. Successful candidate will join a high tempo Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) analytic team. Prior to deployment, the candidate will provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to SIGINT systems developers, influencing the development path of new exploitation techniques, process workflow, and reporting methodologies. The candidate will assess the quality and utility of current/emerging imaging technologies, and new processing tools/methodologies, with a focus on system capabilities, overall system performance, and refinement of system architecture. The successful candidate will also coordinate and provide capabilities demonstrations and familiarize the team with current warfighter TTPs and CONOPS. While deployed OCONUS, the candidate is expected to produce geo-location data to support the development of various intelligence reports. Using Geospatial skills and knowledge, the qualified candidate will manage and facilitate the prosecution and analysis of collection data files. Additionally, the candidate will conduct general and directed radio frequency searches on targets of interest in the OEF Theater of Operation. The candidate will use various geospatial-intelligence exploitation software packages and will apply multi-INT information to imagery analysis in support of Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (CIED) Operations. Candidates will also need to compile intelligence materials for use in briefings to high-level government personnel and will be expected to properly track, complete, and disseminate Requests for Information (RFI).
Required Education:18+ Years with HS or 14+ Years with AA or 12+ Years with BS or 10+ Years with MS or 7+ Years with PhDRequired Experience:Required Skills:Experience with communications intelligence collection equipment is required. Experience with ground, airborne, and/or national geo-location systems is preferred. The successful candidate will have previous experience with analyzing and processing collection data files. Experience operating an ES system, preferably on a UAS, and familiarity with Direction Finding (DF) and geo-location processes a benefit. The position requires an OCONUS deployment of six months, in a combat zone. Candidate must meet customer mandated standards requirements (to include fitness) to pass a deployment physical and deploy OCONUS to conduct operations with the equipment รข?" Customer reserves right to approve all contract personnel. Candidate must have a background in CIED analysis and understand tactical level intelligence requirements. Must be capable of typing 30 WPM and have excellent analytical writing and briefing skills. Proficient in utilizing basic intelligence applications to support analytical efforts and product development: DCGS-A, ArcGIS, CIDNE, mIRC, FalconView, Google Earth, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).Preferred Skills:Previous target experience with Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia is beneficial. Also, experience with any of the following is beneficial: AIRHANDLER, TPCS, AN/PRD-13, MEWSS, ELCC, WITCHHUNT, HITS DRAGONFLY, WHAMI, TEMPTRESS, RAS Subsystems, and STORY CLASSIC. Experience with the testing, development, and evaluation of new equipment/systems, and prior deployment to combat zone as a SIGINT analyst is desired. Experience with the exploitation of Motion Imagery to include Full Motion Video (FMV) and Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS) imagery collected by tactical ISR assets such as Constant Hawk, Predator, MC-12, Reaper, Gorgon Stare, and Angel Fire.
