| Title: Software Developer Skills: Software Developer Date: 8-25-2010 Description: Manpower Professional has a great opportunity for a full time Software Developer for one of our major Clients based in Austin, MN. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in a related field; and three to five years related experience and/or training. Familiarity providing software development in a call center or customer service provision environment is a plus. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, and analysis of variance. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, document finds, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations for action. LICENSES, Valid drivers license or access to means for travel during scheduled work hours. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Extensive experience developing applications; C#, SQL Server, VSS, Crystal Reports, Web Services, XML, , HTML and ASP; local and wide-area networking; TCP/IP communications protocol; Web development experience; experience developing and deploying applications to external customers; version management. Proficient technical knowledge and experience with PC hardware, Windows environment, MS Office Suite and ability to obtain adept knowledge of companys proprietary software, and other systems supported. Experience with Interfacing with other software providers, telephony systems, IVR systems, business objects application layer, JavaScript, VBScript, ADO, Access, Oracle, SOAP, UNIX, Linux, Microsoft Project, MS Build, data replication, data synchronization, and database administration are plusses. Understanding and knowledge of MultiSpeak compliance is preferred (). Ability to understand and learn the concepts behind CRCLink software, Manitou and Bold Technologies software. Able to travel up to 20% of the time by ground or air transportation and ability to manage processes and programs at multiple locations. Ability to deal with a variety of people under various circumstances in and effective and courteous manner. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Strong solution providing and decision making skills with ability to analyze large amounts of data and prioritize work. Able to successfully understand and implement policies, procedures and programs, while ensuring that department performance requirements are met. Able to creatively identify and develop opportunities for continuous improvement of processes. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and working well under pressure. Effective and punctual follow through skills with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service. Ability to effectively deal with a variety of people (from staff level employees to board of directors and company executives) under various circumstances. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
