Primary Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for…

• Testing Mobile Web and Tablet Webs

• Testing mobile eBay native apps for different mobile products, smart phones (iPhone, iPad, Android, RIM, and Windows 7)

• Testing the mobile apps using simulators (iPhone, Android, Device Anywhere and others)

• Creating and implementing test plans and automated test scripts.

• Working closely with the product and development teams (both remote and local) to understand product requirements, architecture and technology.

• Filing, tracking and reporting defects

• Reporting progress, risks and test coverage effectively.

• Implementing QA standards and process improvement in SDLC.

• Configuring defect and test management tools.

• Managing QA devices and environments.
Job Requirements

• Experience testing on mobile devices - Android, iPad, iPhone, Symbian, webOS, and/or Windows Mobile.

• Comfortable working on Mac or Windows, and with various mobile devices and simulators.

• Experience with Device Anywhere is a plus.

• Strong understanding of QA methodology and good programming skills.

• Ability to effectively interact across multiple departments and group.

• BS in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience.

• 5+years of experience as a software QA engineer.

• Strong understanding of QA methodology and good programming skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in creating or testing mobile applications.

• Comfortable with Mac/Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to accomplish critical business objectives.
Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
