Software Engineer II (Email) - C#, .Net, SQL, SSIS
Candidates must have demonstrated excellent oral/written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to support interaction with internal customers, external partners, team members, and internal management. The candidate must have demonstrated an ability to work in a fast paced / dynamic team environment and possess time management skills to meet schedules.
Responsibilities:
Build and enhance processes and templates that support the email marketing strategy.
Email template and backend process development.
Email program production support.
Potential to perform QA on teammates' work.
Will eventually be put into a support phone rotation.
Ensure defects are properly documented.
Handle coding, debugging and documentation.
Support the QA group in developing test plans and test scripts.
Minimum Requirements:
3-4 years development experience.
Intermediate level SQL development skills. Oracle or other ANSI SQL acceptable.
Intermediate level C# and programming skills.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
A commitment to producing top quality, well designed solutions.
Strong programming ability, with great attention to detail and design.
Demonstrated ability to design and assist in the timely delivery of high-quality software.
Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills.
A forward thinker with good business sense.
Dedication to a collaborative working style and the ability to work well in small teams.
Required to participate in after-hour and on-call support.
A desire to learn and use new technologies.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience as Software Engineer in a Web Applications / Application Programmer capacity using the .NET framework
Experience with customer facing marketing email and strategy
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
