Title: Software Engineer Location: INDIA-NOIDAOverall Role purpose:DeveloperStrong working knowledge in MS Dot Net, IIS, MS SQL Server, Excel/VBA ProgrammingCoding/Code Management - Re-use components available in the practice frameworks (Shocks, HEMI) and strive for maintainability and efficiency when building code. Always use applicable coding, naming, packaging and deployment standards and best practices. Consistently use code management processes and tools to avoid versioning problems. Submit code for peer review before handing off to QA nning, Design and Project Status - Determine detailed implementation tasks from use cases or detailed requirements documents and, when necessary, create the initial coding estimates and keep them updated throughout the project. Communicate regularly with the project manager and technical lead about development changes, scheduling, availability, and lity Assurance Support - Perform unit testing to verify basic functionality and that unit tests sufficiently exercise all code before passing along to QA analysts. Assist the QA analysts in preparing and reviewing QA test cases and test plans to help verify that they will test all functions and features effectively. Provide support to debug and resolve all code or interface problems encountered during QA ert Resource and coach - Act as an expert resource on system functionality and approach, including solving systems operations issues and performance problems. Coach less experienced developers in the appropriate standards, unit testing approaches, and documentation requirements. Participate in code reviews for Accountibilities and Responsibilities:Technology:Researches literature, patents, and current practices.
