Software Programmer and Database Development Engineer
BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated, disciplined, reliable, and industrious software programmer and database development engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in software design, development, and testing. The primary responsibilities of this individual would include web based database application design and development using Visual Studio 2003/2008 and SQL Server 2000/2005, troubleshooting and resolving application errors, implementing change requests, and verification testing. The ideal candidate shall be knowledgeable about database design, relational database management systems, web development, data structures, network programming, database maintenance, and the software development life-cycle. The ideal candidate shall also be able to work well with others, follow development processes, adhere to coding standards and use configuration management tools.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Maryâ?Ts County Technology Corridor north of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to St. Maryâ?Ts County, Maryland or surrounding areas. Relocation assistance is available.
