You will be part of Cisco SAVBU team. Work also involves providing constant feedback to hardware and software teams for improvements. Write test plans, execute test cases independently. Contribute to automation scripting. The focus area is system testing and end-to-end qualification of UCS-C Series servers with UCS Management system, which includes platform level testing and data path, QOS etc.
Required Skills/Experience:
* BS CS/EE degree and 5 plus years of strong hands-on testing experience with Ethernet switches and fibre channel switches. * In-depth knowledge of layer 2 switching protocols and QOS * Strong background and experience in software testing methodology, test development and test execution. * Experience in one of the scripting language TCL, perl, Python.
Highly desirable Skills/Experience:
* Hands-on experience with L2 switching protocols like VLAN/STP/MSTP/RSTP/LACP * Must also have experience in testing ACLs, QoS, high availability components. * Experience with FC protocol is a plus * Proficient programming in at least one scripting language (TCL, Perl, Python, etc.). * Good understanding of end to end network architectures.
