Provides the necessary leadership, analysis, design and architecture considerations related to the platform health & management of the Information Delivery Network (IDN). Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and work experience) and at least ten (12) years of solid, diverse work experience supporting distributed applications residing on multiple environments. Highly skilled in impact analysis and problem solving/issue resolution. Ability to perform at a high level under pressure, manage crisis response activities, lead/coordinate activities of cross-organizational teams. Demonstrated expertise in a multiple technology/platforms, including Sybase ASE/IQ, Abinitio/ETL tools, SAS analytics and distributed environments with UNIX. Strong knowledge about current technology trends and solutions for deployment and proof-of-concept opportunities within the IDN. Demonstrated and mastered Data Warehouse, Data Integration & Analytics designs and concepts. Strong leadership demonstrated for large multi-diverse groups. Strong written/oral communication for presentations. Strong ability to train and mentor other developers/team members. Proven ability to drive results with emphasis on reducing cycle time, increasing speed to market and flawless execution of new and existing capabilities. Must be highly proficient with: Sybase IQ & ASE technologies, Abinito/ETL products, UNIX Operating System, Perl Programming, Java Programming, Cross platform integration techniques. Performance Troubleshooting, Project Life Cycle Development, Mentoring and developing resources, Oral & written communications
Proficient in: DBA Activities, All Windows Desktop Applications (Such as Word, Excel, Access), Solaris/OS, C programming
