PL/ SQL Developer II – Non-Bargaining
Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and manage Oracle PL/SQL as well as T-SQL stored program units such as a procedures, functions, packages and database triggers
Participate in various project and new initiative as a technical resources involving Oracle 10g/11g Server and SQL Server, as well as performing duties as documenting requirements, mapping and program logic, designing solutions, testing and implementation
Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, data mapping, program logic and flowcharts
Design and development of software using primarily PL/SQL batch processing
Design, develop and test reports using Jaspersoft Ireport and SSRS
Design, develop, and test JAVA applications
Learn and master database schema of complex third-party enterprise applications
Understand and interpret customer requirement and develop solutions to meet requirements
Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, program logic, and flowchart
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, plus
Minimum of three (3) years experience as an PL/SQL developer
Must have experience PL/SQL with Oracle 10g or 11g; T-SQL code, SSIS Packages and SSRS reports
Strong experience in Application Development with knowledge of full software development life cycle
Understanding of Database deployment architectures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to manage priorities and handle simultaneous demands; willingness to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
Experience in healthcare or employee benefits preferred
Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
