The Embedded team in Asia Research & Development is looking for talented software developers to build the next generation of world class embedded device solutions. Responsibilities
As a software developer in test, your responsibilities will include:
Creating test plans for product feature areas, planning for test design and execution for each milestone.
Designing and implementing test cases to verify product functionalities, performance, security, and other requirements.
Developing test automation used internally to verify end-to-end scenarios, traverse all configurations, track performance data, etc.
Planning and driving test code design, scheduling, and implementation.
Pioneering new test methodologies to deliver quality to our customers.
Partnering closely with developers and program managers to develop the right solutions and foster an environment where test can be successful.
Be a strong advocate of our customers and bring that feedback into our development cycle and engineering practices.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Solid coding and debugging skills in C++
- Good communication and cross team collaboration skills
- Strong ability to work independently as solving the problem as well as in a team environment
- Experience in testing automation design and development is preferred
Any experience in following categories is a plus:
Experience with operating system or in Embedded is a big plus.
Knowledge and experience in OS internals
Knowledge and experience in Windows low level development & debugging
Working and successfully delivering products with remote teams
