Position Summary:
The Software Quality Assurance Test Lead will be responsible for the effective development and implementation of test methods, verification and validation of web based software programs to ensure products and services meet product standards for quality. The role develops strategies, processes and measures to target a zero defect software product. As Test Lead you will ensure adequate product testing prior has occurred and all measures have been evaluated prior to product release. The individual will administer the defect management process including monitoring and reporting on defect resolution as well as be responsible for the evaluation and testing of the software product and is considered an expert on the use and administration of the product. This individual will lead the evolution of quality assurance strategy and measurement as well as implementation for the product development team. The Quality Assurance leader will need to have experience specifically with Microsoft .Net and the surrounding technologies.
Our Software Quality Assurance Engineer Duties & Responsibilities will include:
• Functional responsibility for the software testing staff
• Definition of test strategies for each product and implementation.
• Establishment and review of test methods, including automation and load tests
• Coordination of test schedules with development project managers
• Preparation of test reports for product release meetings
• Establishing and maintaining software testing project plans for each member of the testing group
• Experience of project management (software development or software testing projects)
• Ability to set direction, make commitments and then manage consistently.
• Ability and desire to be hands on, developing test suites and leading by example.
Basic Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications:
• BA/BS in CS/IS or related degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of experience in technical and organizational leadership for software testing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Candidates must have strong project management, superior organization and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems
• 4 years of overall experience in QA software & application testing.
• Experience testing web-based, e-commerce and desktop applications
• Expertise with QA automated testing tools & automated test development for same.
• Proven track record establishing QA practices and full processes.
• Strong project management experience with complex projects is deadline and delivery oriented.
• Excellent attention to detail, proven track record providing results.
• Highly analytical, must have the ability to think broadly and strategically.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal skills
