We are seeking software developers at all levels (entry level to Sr. Developers) with the following accountabilities: ' Acquire a working knowledge of the product's architecture ' Manage your own projects and act as a team leader to assist others in their roles ' Present your framework and design ideas to management and participate in design and code reviews ' Interact with customers to gather requirements and troubleshoot software problems ' Identify ways to improve and evolve our applications and services ' Write quality Java code that is both efficient, maintainable, and adheres to conventions and best practices
Develops quality and performing commercial software for release to company customers. Designs and develops hardware, software, and networking systems. Provides an architectural framework for system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts. Implements standards and guidelines. Analyzes system and performs usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements.
Specific Responsibilities:
Provide architectural leadership for development efforts by integrating various technologies such as web applications, relational databases, information security, servers, networking, etc.
Review and analyze current systems and processes to determine requirements. Follow a zero-defect mindset in developing, maintaining, testing, and checking-in/checking-out source code.
Develop detailed systems documentation including functional specifications, design requirements, templates, layout, navigation, diagrams, maps, etc.
Provide analysis and design reviews to solve conceptual problems and avoid duplication of efforts of same errors within different applications.
Work with vendors to integrate technologies within organization's structure. Evaluate new technologies and recommend extension, expansion, and update of technology standards, practices, and methodologies.
Ensure design, structure, and content meet performance guidelines.
Stay current on tools, methodologies, technologies and language features. Qualifications: What you bring to our winning team: ' Bachelor's degree in Computer Science ' Java development experience (J2EE, JSP, MVC pattern) ' Web development experience (HTML, Javascript, CSS) ' Experience with at least one of the following SQL databases (MySQL, SQLServer, Oracle) ' Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities ' Good communication skills ' Entry level: 0-2 years exp, Intermediate level: 3-6 years exp and Senior Level: 7 + yrs application development experience and proven success on a long term project (i.e., multiple years)
