Role Description: The Solution Architecture Consultant will lead the business and technology architecture design. In addition, he will be responsible for applying architecture best practices, defining the optimal delivery methodology and conducting JAD sessions with the client. The Solution Architect must have excellent presentation, communication and visualization skills.
Mandatory Skills:
Overall 6 years of experience in prototyping, designing and architecting DW and BI solutions
Two years of hands-on experience translating business requirements into SOA solutions
Hands on experience with application design, development, configuration and deployment
Experience and knowledge of ETL and Reporting architecture and tools
Extensive knowledge in Data Warehousing trends and technologies like ETL, DW Design and DW Modeling
Ability to lead technical and business users to facilitate design discussions
Ability to lead a development and testing team
Excellent communications skills, capable of translating business terms into technology functionality
Proven experience in facilitation of JAD sessions
Deep technical skills, problem solving and utilization of SDLC disciplines
Additional Skills:
Deep experience in SOA, business process modeling technologies, BPEL and rules based engines.
Ability to architect, design and develop an enterprise solutions - business intelligence and data warehousing, CRM and Business Process Transformation
Hands-on experience with SOA design, Agile and Extreme Programming, and Rational Unified Process
Experience applying best in class architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman, etc
Experience developing business architecture views, technology architecture views and operational model views.
Experience and knowledge of master data management architecture, governance, processes and tools
Capable of defining, designing and implementing logical and physical data models
Knowledge of the Configuration Management and Configuration management concepts and tools
Bachelor's Degree and Masters Degree preferred
Education Qualifications: UG - h/B.E. OR PG - h
Any Specialization – Computer Sc. & Engg. preferred
