We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect/System Engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit. This individual possesses a background in IT Infrastructure and consulting services. Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
The Solution Architect/System Engineer will provide expertise in enterprise solution design, direction, and promotes architecture principles along with conducting research in specific technology areas and be up to date with the latest of industry trends on infrastructure architecture. Additional responsibilities include:
Building relationships and nurturing business partnerships that enable us to offer more value to clients while increasing revenue and profit.
Leading with an obsession for customer satisfaction that is addressed and measured constantly.
Superior Customer Service and problem solving skills a must
Proven project management skills and experience working within a professional services field, or consulting experience, system engineer experience and/or deploying enterprise software solutions preferred.
Experience with Enterprise Architecture, Networking, Security, System Management, data migration, Virtualization, Enterprise Application integration, and server & SAN, storage infrastructure is critical for success. Experience with IBM hardware is of high value.
Desired Skill Sets:
Bachelor’s Degree a minimum, post graduate work a plus.
5 to 7 years experience in a similar role working with clients and sales support. Specific include skills with design, setup, installation and troubleshooting for the following technologies:
` Storage Virtualization (setup, installation, troubleshoot)
` Knowledge and experience with Tivoli Storage Manger and/or Netbackup
` IBM PowerVM (advanced skill set - VIOS design, setup, SEA setup, VSCSI)
` IBM AIX 5 + 6 (advanced skill set)
` Cluster technology (AIX/HACMP) - intermediate understanding
` High end sever experience, IBM P595 + P590 + P570 and System x
` High end tape systems (TS3310 + TS3500)
` SAN switch technologies - configuration & design
` DR/HA Solutions
