Responsibilities: * Provide web and phone-based pre-sales support and consulting services for Canon Business Solutions software and solutions sales. * Develop detailed and comprehensive solution blueprints addressing specific client requirements. * Assist in the development and delivery of solutions proposals. * Provide Statement of Work authorship and/or oversight. * Provide technical and thought leadership within assigned portfolio of solutions responsibility. * Provide internal technical escalation for assigned area(s) of specialty. * Keep abreast of new functionality and release schedules as well as fostering a relationship of two-way communication facilitating such things as expedited issue escalation and feature/enhancement requests. * Facilitate access to vendor escalation and feedback communication channels. * Subject matter expert regarding a specific portfolio of solutions. * Build direct contact and relationship with the solution vendors within their specified portfolio of specialization.
Qualifications: * Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in a related job function and/or industry/field * Required Certifications: CDIA+ (if not presently certified, must be attained within first 6-months of employment) * Desired Certifications: A+/Net+, CNA, CNE, MCP, MCSE, PMP, Supported Canon and 3rdParty Software Certifications (ex. imageWARE, uniFLOW, Documentum, Kofax) * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in core supported solution area(s) including Document Management, Document Distribution, Imaging Solutions, Document Workflow Solutions and Cost Recovery Solutions * Intermediate to advanced proficiency with general office applications (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
