Job Description
This position is required to provide technical leadership in areas of Cognos 8.3, Oracle 10G, SQL, and Data Stage. This role supports key strategic projects within the Canadian organization by providing the required technical skills and project management capabilities to the supported business teams.
Business Analysis, Architecture, Design and Development of functional specifications associated with BI Best practices as required for use with Cognos, Oracle, SQL, Datastage.
Project Management and Leadership of technical component of the projects. Leading multiple technical projects focusing on key areas of Project Management and associated deliverables with Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control and Closure.
Technical development of Reports in Cognos, Managing the Oracle DWH, Designing and ensuring enforcement of architectural design of the framework and cubes. Ability to maintain, monitor and troubleshoot (when required) key month-end application related lity to implement and design solid Master Data Mgmt (MDM) components.
Relationship management with business partners, administration, application support. Support to existing systems.
