Job Description: Participate in the planning, development and implementation of new and enhanced compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Help to maintain a Total Compensation plan that ensures a competitive edge to recruit and retain top talent as well as be responsive to the company's changing goals. Ensure compensation programs are consistently administered and in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Qualifications/Job Responsibilities: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES . Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures. Recommend plan revisions as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives; coordinate implementation and provide guidance to corporate staff. . Team Lead for annual administration of the company's focal and semi-annual incentive pay programs . Provide compensation expertise to client groups, by recommending corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related issues . Advise Management on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation as well as job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs . Review requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment . Provide experience and guidance to other members of the compensation team . Administer cash compensation pay programs including shift differentials, and on-call pay. . Develop creative techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data to Management. . Keeps apprised of worldwide compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure Company compliance. . Develop and/or participate in compensation surveys, analyzing competitive market data and developing recommendations for salary structure adjustments as appropriate
KEY ATTRIBUTES . Demonstrated ability to assess business needs and recommend compensation programs that meet those needs. . Experience developing and administering a variety of pay structures, variable compensation plans, and salary reviews in global environments. . A high degree of flexibility and creativity, be extremely organized and detail oriented (accuracy is essential), and have excellent interface and communication skills. . Demonstrated ability to project manage large scale program delivery methods/design/facilitation . Strong understanding of the high-tech employment market and competitive global compensation practices. . Demonstrated capability to manage and complete numerous and sometimes simultaneous compensation related projects (both as project lead and participant) . Familiarity with government regulations (AAP) as they apply to total compensation program compliance, company policies and operations. . Experience must include assisting with design and implementation of a company-wide compensation program.
DEGREE AND SKILLS REQUIRED . A proactive Compensation Analyst with a BS in Business, Human Resources or related field and 5-8 years experience or equivalent. . Experience in a high-tech business environment, preferred. . CCP designation a plus . MS Office expertise a necessity, particularly in Excel . Oracle or similar related HRIS experience preferable . Both Domestic and International compensation experience preferred. . Mathematical aptitude, developed analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. . Strong interpersonal and customer service skills in dealing with top management and all levels of client groups (cross-functional teams, i.e. Finance and Sales). . Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and discretion at all times. . The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with little direction.
