Sr. Biztalk Developer

Expectations:     Develop, support, and maintain new and existing production applications

Major Functions/Responsibilities:

     Develop applications in accordance to SDLC methodology, industry best practices, and departmental policies and standards

     Analyze business and functional requirements in order to collaborate with the Applications Architect to propose and document a technical solution; Create and execute functional integration test plans

     Provide proven communication, analytical, and problem solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that the project deliverables are met according to specification.

Requirements/Skills:

 BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical degree program.

ESB Framework 2.0/2.1 (1+ years experience) Itinerary, UDDI, BAM, and BRE implementations.

 Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009 (3+ years experience) Orchestrations, Maps, Pipelines, Port Configuration, XSLT, XML, XSD, as well as performance and scalability tuning.

 Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and the WCF SQL Adapter (3+ years experience) Data design and optimization, stored procedures, cursors, xml queries, indexing, locking and relationships.

 Solution based architecture, design and estimation (3+ years experience)

      
 UML design packages, such as Enterprise Architect (1+ years experience)

 SCM packages, such as Subversion (3+ years experience)

Other Considerations:

          Experience in the insurance industry a plus

          Experience in the implementation of B2B Interfaces a plus

          Experience in the implementation of an Enterprise Service Bus a plus

          Experience in the implementation of Service Oriented Architecture a plus

          Desire to rapidly learn and implement new technologies

          Ability to deliver quality deliverables against specified timelines
