JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION: We are currently seeking a Compensation Analyst to work in our Corporate Compensation group. This position is a four to five month assignment, with a major focus on sales compensation and compensation support for the South Asia Pacific region. You will participate in the development, communication and implementation of the FY2011 sales comp plans. You will also assist in the administration of the company's incentive plans. Other responsibilities may include participation in salary surveys, providing guidance on compensation related issues for management, interpretation of salary data and performing analysis to ensure competitive positioning within the marketplace.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Description of duties, responsibilities, include the following: . Assist in the design, development, communication and implementation of compensation plans (including sales comp plans).
. Partner with managers to develop solutions for their compensation issues. Ensuring that recommendations support overall compensation strategy.
. Responsible for administering global compensation projects; including participation in strategy, planning and execution.
. Analyze the effectiveness of the compensation programs and provide recommendations for ongoing program enhancements. Provide coaching and training to the HR team and managers on compensation topics.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (skills, work experience, education, physical requirements):
Minimum prior experience (Type of experience): . Three to five years of compensation experience in a global comp environment.
. Experience with compensation practices in the SAP region and Sales Compensation preferred.
Minimum skills/knowledge (skills and abilities necessary for position): . Knowledge of compensation concepts and methodologies and sales pay plans . Advanced knowledge/skills in Excel . Strong statistical analysis and modeling skills . Innovative thinker with excellent communication skills . Self-starter who can own driving the strategic direction of compensation initiatives . Must be able to analyze detail and conceptualize implementation on a global scale . Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and successfully . Ability to influence and interact effectively at all levels of the organization . Proficiency with HRIS for data extraction and reporting
Minimum Education: . Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
