RequirementsKnowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates a proven record of success performing as an infrastructure architect that hasthe confidence and technical ability to consult at many levels, including a demonstrated intimate functional knowledge of the following:
- Large corporate IT operations, major IT programs, systems integration and technical architecture at enterprise and inter-enterprise levels
- The design of large data centers and/or infrastructures for global organizations
-Management and/or oversight of large scale data center migration programs
-Expertise and certification with a computing technology vendor
-Computing, storage and application platform and/or database architectures for greenfield data centers
-Computing, storage and application platform and/or database operational processes and tools (e.g. Storage Resource Management)
-Data center technologies, along with extensive knowledge levels in one of the following categories:
-Data center facilities: HVAC, Wiring, Racking, UPS
-Network technologies: WAN, LAN, FC, FCoE, Load-balancers
-Storage technologies: EMC, NetApp, Hitachi, IBM, HP
-Server technologies: Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMWare, Blades, Clustering
-Application / Database platform: IIS, SQL, WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle
-Monitoring tools & technologies : IBM, HP, BMC, CA
Skills Preferred:
- Demonstrates an extensive ability to design, architect and upgrade large complex infrastructures, as well as leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve challenging business problems
- Demonstrates proven extensive abilities to develop strategy; as well as write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management, emphasizing the ability to draft and deliver verbal and written presentations and client reports
- Demonstrates proven extensive abilities to manage project engagements, including the abilities to pay attention to detail; retain poise under pressure; focus on meeting deadlines through a combination of interpersonal flexibility, thoroughness and self-motivation; and utilize critical thinking to analyze information accurately and make sound decisions
- Demonstrates proven extensive abilities to deliver engagements within allocated timeframes according to agreed client contracts, including the development of solutions that encourages stakeholder buy-in
- Demonstrates proven extensive abilities to manage the effectiveness of relationship with clients and engagement team members
- Demonstrates proven extensive abilities to support the meeting of sales targets and participation in a number of business development / proposal efforts
- Demonstrates proven extensive abilities to provide quality of technical capabilities and solutions, as well as maintaining technical credibility with clients
Min Degree(s) An Undergraduate Degree with a major in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
