Position Description: Responsible for architecture, design, implementation of the application portfolio that makes up the data marts infrastructure, applications, and tools. Provide technical expertise across all aspects of the environment including requirements, modeling, physical design, data transformation and loading. Establish best practices according to industry and internal standards.
Primary duties and responsibilities include: ? Translate business requirements into a flexible and scalable dimensional data model ? Architects enterprise data mart solutions involving multiple source systems ? Performs data mart design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation ? Participate throughout the entire project life cycle to facilitate conformance to design methodology, overall data mart architectural compliance and infrastructure coordination and preparation ? Designs and develops robust and precise ETL routines to load the Data Mart from various sources
Required Skills: ? Minimum of 8 or more years related work experience. Prefer 8 or more years of related work experience. ? Requires Bachelor's degree. ? Related work experience: Architecting/designing enterprise data warehousing solutions Experience with large scale, multi source, multi consumer data management solutions Proven track record with enterprise RDBMS (i.e. SQL Server 2005/2008, Oracle) Strong ETL design and development with enterprise ETL applications (i.e., Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services) Strong technical writing skills Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services is a plus Healthcare/health plan/claims processing experience is a plus
