As a Senior Database Programmer/Analyst for Koch Supply & Trading you will be part of a team responsible for developing data intensive solutions that align with business initiatives. In this role you will:
Work with terabyte databases and architect innovative solutions to unique problems. Perform all SDLC phases related to developing data intensive solutions. Responsible for design, construction, testing, optimization, deployment and support of solutions. Actively participate in a collaborative team environment. Engage with business customers, external vendors, business analysts and application support. Gather experience in working with commodities trading data. Grow in a company with opportunities across the globe.
Required Experience:
5+ years of experience building data intensive solutions utilizing advanced database concepts and methodologies. 5+ years of experience with database programming, particularly Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies TSQL, ADO, OleDB, Transaction Processing (including Batch Commits). 5+ years of experience utilizing ETL tools such as SSIS or Informatica 3+ years of experience with object oriented programming languages, particularly C#. Experience with database architecture design, patterns and software development methodologies. Must be able to understand and communicate complex problems/solutions Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience
Preferred Experience:
Experience developing solutions with Microsofts Business Intelligence suite (SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, SharePoint, TSQL). Knowledge of the trading business Training or experience in financial mathematics or statistical analysis MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Math
