JOB PURPOSE
Provides senior level technical and project leadership and support within the Implementation and Support Team. Interacts with various Equifax organizations including the Commercial Modeling and Analytics Team, the Consumer Modeling and Analytics Team and Marketing Consultants. May be a project leader or member to fulfill client goals and needs within tight timelines and resource allocations. Provides technical and project design, analysis, implementation support, coordination and communication to ensure that all company and client project goals and timelines are met. Utilizes corporate and client databases for ad hoc analyses, specifications development and implementation procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
PROJECT LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT - WILL ORGANIZE, DIRECT, AND PROVIDE TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS IN SUPPORT OF I&S AND CLIENT PROJECTS. BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ASPECTS OF COMPLETING THE PROJECT ON TIME AND MEETING ALL STANDARDS AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS.
SUPPORT FOR MODEL IMPLEMENTATION INCLUDING QA, DATA INPUT AND AUDIT; HARDCODE GENERATION; SPECS DEVELOPMENT; AND SAS CODE REVIEW. PREPARATION AND COORDINATION FOR THE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION GROUP AND/OR THE STRATEGIC ANALYSIS GROUP FOR TRI-AGENCY MODELS.
MODEL VALIDATIONS FOR COMMERCIAL AND CONSUMER MODELS - STANDARD AND CUSTOM INCLUDING DATA INPUT AND PREPARATION; SAS CODING; RUNNING VALIDATION PROGRAMS; GENERATE GAINS CHARTS, SUMMARY CHARTS OF VARIOUS TYPES; AND DOCUMENTATION FOR THE PROJECT.
AD HOC ANALYSES IN SUPPORT OF I&S AND CLIENT PROJECTS INCLUDING MODEL SCORING AND ANALYSIS, PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS, DATABASE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION; SEGMENTATION ANALYSES, SAMPLE DESIGN, AND PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT STUDIES. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
2. Five to seven years related experience and/or training 3. Advanced technical skills and project management experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to provide leadership when needed on projects. 4. In-depth knowledge of SAS programming language, the UNIX platform and PC systems. Extensive experience (5-7 years). 5. Uses SAS in the UNIX environment to develop and implement ad hoc models and analyses that utilize advanced methods. Creates complex SAS programs utilizing advanced SAS procedures. 6. In-depth knowledge of modeling and analytical methods. 7. Familiar with a variety of software packages, systems, and platforms used to support project management, modeling, and analysis. 8. Well-defined problem identification/solution skills related to business applications and excellent written and oral communication skills.
