Job Description:
Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicate highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades. May participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects. May conduct training programs designed to educate an organization's computer users about basic and specialized applications .Monitor and manage PBXs at HQ and remote sites, including move, add, change tasks .Manage voicemail systems at HQ and remote sites .Provision and deploy cell phones and PDAs .Manage voice calling including LD, local and Int'l calling Qualifications:.Customer service orientation .Problem analysis .Problem-solving .Oral and written communication skills .Hands on technical knowledge of relevant data and voice technologies .Planning and organizing ..4-5 yrs progressive IT end user systems administration & support experience (Desktop PC's, Laptops, voice systems and peripherals) including performing troubleshooting on key end user systems. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred. MS certification (MCSE) a plus. Telecom experience. Support of voice systems.. This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration regulations (EAR).
