The Senior OCR System Developer/Programmer Analyst is a highly qualified individual producer who is responsible for the design, coding and implementation of OCR applications. The incumbents generally works under deadlines and is capable of handling heavy workloads, and operating with only general supervision. Will need to provide functional guidance to less experienced staff. Incumbents are responsible for the development, implementation, and diagnostics of software system elements.
Design, coding and implementation of complex software utilizing the Microsoft C# Dot Net, Delphi and MS-SQL.
Preparation of detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Work with off-shore employees as they assist in software development and testing.
Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of latest technologies and constantly seeks to improve Skills, development techniques and technologies.
Participation in the development and preparation of documentation for, but not limited to, procedural, program and user documentation.
Bachelor's degree in CIS, CS or AS degree with 5 years experience.
Preferred experience with Optical Character Recognition "OCR" and Imaging technology
Minimum 3-5 years of progressively responsible software development experience with low level code in C and C++ and application development experience in C#
