Sr. Field Engineer I
Title: Sr. Field Engineer I Location: USA-Nebraska-Offutt AFB Other Locations: Support all operational and training missions by preparing mission software loads. Conduct recoveries of all missions by extracting critical data for customer use. Provide Ground Data Processing System (GDPS) operations support, data import/export operations and mission data archiving. Also assist with GDPS hardware and software malfunction isolation, and configuration for special operations modes and testing as required. Manage GDPS operations daily and make recommendations to correct system anomalies. Be responsible for GDPS database and software configuration control, and login and password security controls. Position requires working various shifts and deploying periodically. Thorough knowledge and understanding of hardware and software principles. Must be able to work unsupervised if necessary. Must have the initiative and ability to study and learn complex systems with a minimum of instruction. Knowledge and experience with current RIVET JOINT systems is highly desired. Knowledge and experience in Red Hat Linux system administration and Oracle database administrator duties preferred. Programming experience with Linux shell scripting, MySql, PHP, Perl, Java and HTML extremely helpful. 2-5 years of directly related experience,Big Safari,Collection Systems,Computer Science
