Title: Sr. Flex Developer Skills: FLEX/Actionsript 3, UI, BlazeDS, LCDS, OO javascript and libraries, HTML, DHTML, CSS, some J2EE Date: 8-23-2010 Description: PRESTIGIOUS INVESTMENT BANK Sr. Flex Developer Experience: 8+ years Introduction Global Data, Operations and Shared Services (GDOS) focuses on automating and modernizing back office platforms, while implementing and leveraging cross product shared services opportunities. The GDOS group includes Capital Markets Operations Technology; Information Services Group; Citi Investment Research & Analysis, Banking, and GDOS Consulting Services. As part of a new initiative we would be developing a Dashboard/Portal and Data Warehouse to track and manage metrics automatically, over time and in many dimensions. The team is responsible for implementing new application components, integrating existing components for the dashboard/portal and pulling together data from various sources. Key Requirements Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts, algorithms and data structures Solid understanding of Development Design Patterns (GOF) Expert in Flex 3 / Actionscript 3 language and its key concepts like UI component lifecycle, event propagation, data binding, item renderers/editors, styling, and modules. Extensive programming experience in Actionscript 3 language Good experience creating own Flex/AS3 custom components. Good Experience using any AS3/Flex framework. Ie. Swiz, Parsley Cairngorm, PureMVC etc. Very good experience in profiling and debugging of Flex Applications using Flexbuilder Good knowledge in BlazeDS and/or LCDS and remoting services. Working experience of Java/J2EE platform (Servlets, JSP, Webservices) Experience designing and developing portals, dashboards and enterprise-level applications Ability to work well with others and multitask Major Pluses Experience working on any OOP programming language (Java, C#, C++) Experience with JavaScript libraries like ExtJS, Yahoo UI, Prototype etc. Experience with Flex-Javascript integration Familiarity with open source libraries like FlexLib, Flex Visualization Library (Charts) etc. Experience developing web based data visualization components (charts, maps, graphs) Experience of Spring Framework Number of Years of Experience by Technology area Action Script 3.0, Custom Component Creation and Flex frameworks - At least 3 Years Object Oriented JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS - At least 4 Years *** PLEASE SEND RESUMES TO FOR CONSIDERATION *** John D'Antonio The Judge Group, Inc.
