Overview:
This position requires network evaluation, component evaluation and system testing for Wifi/Cellular architectures. It requires exposure to various hardware vendors and excellent documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
· Evaluate and certify network hardware from various manufactures and ensure compatibility with the ATT Wi-Fi.
· Write configuration scripts for hardware that has been qualified.
· Write configuration scripts for implementation at various network architectures.
· Assist Network Technical Manager with network designs.
· Maintain scripts and certification information on a Sharepoint/Wiki portal.
Qualifications:
This position requires in-depth knowledge of industry standard routers and switches, working knowledge of multiple manufacturers' products/systems and in-depth knowledge of the Linux Operating System. The candidate must be able to dynamically multi-task across numerous issues and clients in a high pressure environment.
The candidate will have experience in the following areas:
· Local and wide area network configuration
· Network and Systems Management knowledge
Certifications sought (but not required) include:
· CCNP
· CCSP
· CCVP
· CIPT
